Music Motion Design

Music is a constant in my life and one of my biggest creative influences. I listen to almost every genre imaginable, have taught myself both piano and guitar, and spend a lot of time experimenting with making my own tunes. I’m particularly interested in translating sound into visual form, and hope to develop motion graphics and visual identities for album artwork in the future. This project is my first step into that world.

Visualising Sound: Music Visualiser for T-Buck

Visualising Sound: Music Visualiser for T-Buck 〰️

I created an audio-reactive music visualiser in After Effects for the Lithuanian artist T-Buck, translating the track’s rhythm and energy into motion. A custom audio spectrum reveals the portrait through the waveform, allowing the image to emerge and disappear with the sound. Subtle particle layers add atmosphere and movement, while a rotating vinyl element introduces a playful reference to analogue music culture. I also produced a transparent vinyl asset that can be used as a watermark or overlay, allowing the visual identity of the track to extend across different formats.
